Shelly Spencer threatens to shoot a woman for taking her spot at the gas pump

On February 14th, 2022, 51-year-old Shelley Spencer was observed harassing and assaulting people at a Kroger Fuel Center located near Austin Peay Highway. When officers spoke to one of the victims, Kensharael Williams, she reported that she had noticed a female in an Infiniti SUV facing her as if she was trying to pull into the same fuel spot. Williams then stated that moments later, Spencer, the driver of the Infiniti, began yelling, cursing, and making threats. Williams then claimed that Spencer threatened to shoot her and assault her for taking the pump spot before she pulled off and parked on the other side of the parking lot.

Williams proceeded to finish putting gas in her car before leaving and claimed that Shelley pulled right onto her bumper and began following her through traffic and the parking lot, which continued for minutes. Another person in the car, Kimberly Watkins, got a picture of her license plate when she stopped following them. On February 15th, 2022, both Watkins and Williams gave statements and identified Spencer to officers via a 6-person photo lineup, stating she was the one who followed them and made threats to do harm to her. Spencer was taken into custody and charged with harassment and assault on April 26th, 2024.
