Kreshonda King steals keys from Isle Indulgence Spa after being fired

KRESHONDA KING FEAT

28-year-old Kreshonda King was caught stealing keys from Isle Indulgence Spa, located near Cully Road, on March 11th. The police officers talked to Jonel Feliciano, one of the spa’s employers. Feliciano reported that King was fired from the spa on February 19th and refused to return the keys to the business. Feliciano stated that after several attempts to get the keys, she made a police report. On March 20th, Feliciano made a statement and was able to identify King to officers via a six-person photo lineup. Feliciano also gave officers a $368.72 receipt for the new locks they had to buy, suffering a financial loss of the same amount. A warrant was issued on March 27th, and King was taken into custody on May 8th for theft.

Shunkiko Qualls & her daughter attack, rob woman in Walmart parking lot

SHUNKIKO QUALLS FEAT

43-year-old Shunkiko Qualls was caught after robbing someone at Walmart near Austin Peay highway on May 4th. Officers responded to a call after Pamela Bobo stated that she was robbed by an acquaintance, Shunkiko Qualls, and Qualls’s daughter, Miracle Goodman. Bobo informed officers that she had walked out of Walmart, and two females approached her in the parking lot and attacked her. Bobo states she was knocked to the ground and continued to be punched by both of the women. During the scuffle, Bobo had her cell phone and keys taken by the women. Video evidence of the robbery was obtained from Walmart employees who had seen the incident. On May 7th, Bobo came to Austin Peay Station, was shown a six-person lineup, and identified both women as Shunkiko Qualls and Miracle Goodman. Bobo stated what happened and verified the two actions in the video. Qualls was taken into custody for robbery on May 8th.

Nia Calhoun steals $65 worth of items from Walgreens

41-year-old Niazuri Calhoun was caught stealing from Walgreens near Park Avenue on May 7th. Employees of Walgreens called officers to report a suspicious person. They stated that a female took several items from the shelf and put them in a black bag before walking out. When officers arrived, they spoke with the manager, who pointed out Calhoun’s vehicle as it was leaving. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the car and made contact with Calhoun, who was in the vehicle’s passenger seat. Officers proceeded to detain her and took her back to Walgreens. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the store manager, Anthony Stoke, who stated he saw Calhoun enter the business, walk down numerous aisles, and put things in her bag. Stoke also claims he confronted Calhoun as he observed her taking a nail cosmetic pack and putting it in her bag. Stoke also notes that proceeding this, he asked Calhoun to leave, which she did, but the rest of the items were in her purse. Officers searched Calhoun’s bag, locating two bottles of nail polish, a can of bug spray, and a bottle of Shea moisture hair cream, valued at $65.13. Calhoun also had a misdemeanor for the same thing earlier in the day. Calhoun was then taken into custody for theft.

Trinity Stewart caught with 26.6 grams of marijuana & Glock 23 during traffic stop

18-year-old Trinity Stewart was caught with marijuana and a handgun near Cordova Road on May 8th. Officers were on routine patrol when they noticed a black Nissan Maxima with expired tags. Officers made a traffic stop on the vehicle and immediately noticed the smell of marijuana emitting from thecare upon approach. Proceeding this, officers spoke with the passenger, identified as Trinity Stewart, and the driver, identified as Anthony Philips. While officers spoke with both, they noticed a green substance in the vehicle’s center console.

Officers took Philips into custody and searched him, finding 14 dollars. While officers searched Philips, they observed Stewart attempting to hide something underneath her. Stewart was then detained, and officers found a black handgun underneath where she was seated. Upon searching the vehicle, officers located marijuana in the glove compartment, as well as multiple baggies and a scale. Officers also opened the trunk and noticed several scentless bags. Both refused to claim the marijuana and the handgun that were found. The marijuana weighed in at 26.6 grams. Officers took Stewart into custody, and she was charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful carrying of a weapon.

Naieshia Fitch assaults son with broken broomstick for not cleaning his room

36-year-old Naieshia Fitch was involved in a domestic incident with her son, Kyrius Fitch, at their Philsar Street apartment residence on May 7th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Naieshia, who stated that Kyrius refused to clean his room and was being disrespectful. She also said that when he refused to do as he was told, so she snapped, swinging a broomstick at his lower back.

Officers then spoke with Kyrius, who said he just wanted to go outside and play, so he asked his mother if he could clean later. Kyrius then claimed that Naiesha became upset and hit him on the back with the broomstick. Kyrius stated after this, he jumped out of his bedroom window and dialed 911. Kyrius then informed officers that Jerry Jones, Naieshia’s boyfriend, grabbed him and slammed him onto the ground. Officers spoke with Jones, who stated that Kyrius was being too disrespectful, so he pushed Kyrius a few times. Officers deemed Naieshia to be the primary aggressor, and she was taken into custody for domestic assault.

Nickeriona Ashby strangles wife unconscious during argument

On May 9th, 26-year-old Nickeriona Ashby was involved in a domestic altercation with her wife, Ashley Bailey, at a Tangle Oaks Drive apartment residence. When officers arrived, they spoke to Bailey, who claimed that an argument became physical when a fight ensued. During the fight, Ashby Strangled her until she became unconscious. When Bailey regained consciousness, she went to retrieve some mace and sprayed Ashby in the eyes.

Officers observed redness and bruising to Bailey’s neck but also noticed the redness in Ashby’s eyes. Ashby admitted to being in a physical altercation with Bailey but denied strangling her. Officers determined Ashby as the primary aggressor in the first fight, while Bailey was identified as the aggressor in the second altercation. Both were taken into custody by officers, and Ashby was charged with aggravated assault.

Makayla Garrett caught with 14 pounds of marijuana in suitcase at Memphis International Airport

27-year-old Makayla Garrett was caught with marijuana at the Memphis International Airport on May 7th. Officers were randomly scanning luggage when their k-9 gave a positive alert on a large red suitcase indicating the smell of narcotics. Officers observed Garrett grabbing the bag from a baggage belt. Officers then spoke with Garrett, asking if there was a reason the K-9 unit would alert her bag, and she stated that she had no idea why they were alerted. She then consented to a search of her bag, which resulted in two vacuum-sealed bags of green substance, which tested positive for THC, weighing in at 14.66 pounds. Garrett was then taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance.

Lachandra Mathis assaulted her boyfriend after being accused of sleeping with other men

27-year-old Lachandra Mathis was involved in a domestic incident with her boyfriend, Matthew Townsel, at his Arkansas Street home on April 24th. Officers spoke with Mathis, who stated that a verbal altercation with Townsel had turned physical. Mathis claimed that while she slept, Townsel pushed her and woke her up, accusing her of sleeping with other men. Officers then spoke with Townsel, who stated they were arguing over Mathis sleeping with other men. Townsel also claimed that Mathis pushed him during this incident. Officers noticed that Townsel and Mathis had multiple domestic violence reports, which resulted in Mathis being arrested in 2023. Mathis was taken into custody on May 7th and was charged with domestic assault.

Kenyetta Hayes orders hot wings after killing man for $60, says she was “thirsty for money”

26-year-old Kenyetta Hayes committed first-degree murder at Filmore Avenue Park on May 6th. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a man who had been shot and declared him dead. Investigators recovered videos from businesses in the area that revealed Hayes running from the area of the shooting and released the footage to the media for tips, asking who it was.

On May 7th, the following day, Officers received a call from Hayes’s mother, Shante Jones, who stated she saw her daughter on the news as a person of interest in a homicide. Jones also told investigators that she would bring her daughter into the homicide office. Hayes states that she was on Lamar Avenue near the Marathon gas station when a man asked her for oral sex in exchange for 60 dollars. She advised officers she never planned on performing the act, but instead, she was going to “hit a lick,” meaning rob the man. When the two got to the park, she shot the man, took the sixty dollars, and fled on foot. Hayes also told officers she was “thirsty for money” and spent 47 dollars on two hot wing combos for her and her boyfriend. Hayes was taken into custody for first-degree murder.

Whitney Wallace sleeps on random porch, tells police she owns the property

28-year-old Whitney Wallace was seen trespassing at a property near Tennessee Street on May 2nd. When officers arrived on the scene, they were flagged down by Jim Brigance, a concerned neighbor, who stated that Wallace often stayed on the home’s porch. Brigance also told officers that he heard rocks being thrown at the windows of the home and that he noticed Wallace on the porch walking around. Officers spoke with Wallace, and she stated she owned the property. Officers took Wallace into custody for criminal trespassing.
