37-year-old Tyran Tyjuan Phillips was taken into custody on May 27th for criminal trespass. Around 11 a.m., Sterling Apartments security called deputies to the Rainbranch Drive location, advising them they had Phillips detained after finding him inside a vacant unit, which he was not a leaseholder. Phillips was then jailed for the incident.
55-year-old Carlton Wicks was observed stealing from a Family Dollar near South Bellevue Avenue. Officers were flagged down by Alisha Long, the manager of Family Dollar, who stated she observed a man concealing dish detergent inside his pants while in the store. She then told officers he walked out without paying for the merchandise, leaving the scene on a bicycle. Officers pulled into the area and followed Wicks on the bicycle until they could detain him near South Bellevue Boulevard and Quinn Avenue. Upon detaining Wicks, officers performed a patdown, recovering three bottles of Dawn dish detergent. The merchandise was returned, and Wicks was taken into custody for theft.
39-year-old Takeia Smith was involved in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend, Shannon Smith, at Poplar Avenue on March 6th. While heading inside court for a bond hearing, Shannon’s phone rang from a number he didn’t recognize. When Shannon answered it, Takekia said, “So this is really what you’re going to do?” “You’re gonna get fucked up.” Shannon hung up the phone and spoke with the prosecutors regarding the incident. Before the incident, Takeia signed bail conditions on March 5th, prohibiting her from contacting or harassing Shannon. Shannon told officers that Takeia was responsible for the harassing phone call. Takeia Smith was taken into custody and charged with harassment and violation of bond conditions.
20-year-old Shania Williford had an altercation with her “ex-friend,” Allandrea Davis, at her apartment complex around 2 p.m. on May 8th. Davis told officers that Williford had come over and busted out the driver’s side window of her 2006 BMW. She provided them with several texts and voice messages from Williford, admitting to the incident and stating she would get the window repaired. Davis stated it will cost $500. Williford was identified from a six-person lineup and was taken into custody for vandalism.
46-year-old Latosha Lashelle Murray had a bench warrant issued for her arrest on September 15th, 2023. Murray was taken into custody for prostitution near a church/school on May 8th, 2024.
25-year-old Dashawna Sharneice Williams was observed wearing a completely see-through fishnet outfit while walking near Lamar Avenue and Pearson Road around 3 p.m. on May 8th. Her genitals, breasts, and buttocks were exposed to the public, so officers detained her. Officers discovered via NCIC that she had two felony warrants, one for carjacking and one for employing a firearm with intent to commit a felony, which was issued on March 12th. Williams was then taken into custody for public indecency.
