Natia Dixon threatens boyfriend with knife, tells him “I’m gonna kill you”

18-year-old Natia Dixon had a domestic incident with her boyfriend, Christian Coleman, at his Eastview Drive residence on May 17th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Dixon, who stated she and Coleman had a verbal altercation over cheating. Dixon said she was trying to talk with him, but he wanted her to leave. Then, she advised them that Coleman pushed her out of the doorway, punched her, and “choked” her. Dixon said she retaliated by grabbing his PlayStation 5 and throwing it on the ground, sparking another fight where they both threw punches. Dixon said she went outside and was locked out until she remembered the door had been damaged, so she pushed it open to get inside. She then went to the bathroom and saw her lip bleeding. Dixon told officers that this made her angry, so she grabbed a black pocket knife, adding that she used it to “cut his lights only.”

Then, deputies spoke with Coleman, who advised them that they argued and that it escalated when he punched her because she would not move from the doorway. Coleman said another fight started after she threw his PlayStation 5 on the ground. During that fight, he thought he had locked Dixon out of the house, but she returned to gather her belongings so that she could leave. Then, Coleman said she went to the bathroom, came at him with a black pocket knife, and stated, “I’m gonna kill you.” Dixon was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for aggravated assault.
