Leedoris Greene attempts to stab husband during argument over daughter’s traffic tickets

LEEDORIS GREENE FEAT

60-year-old Leedoris Greene was involved in a domestic altercation with her husband, Ronald Coakley, at their Gruber Drive residence on May 20th. When officers arrived, Greene told them that Coakley had come home yelling about having to pay for traffic tickets for her daughter. According to Greene, Coakley started drinking, got violent, and went to the kitchen, grabbed two knives, and threw them on the bed. Coakley proceeded to pick up the longer knife and told her, “I will stab you in your head.” Greene told officers that this was when she tried to call law enforcement, and Coakley tried to get her phone.

Officers then spoke with Coakley, who said when he returned from paying for tickets, he told Greene that it was because her daughter had been using the tags from the car he sold her. Coakley advised that this is when Greene got mad and attempted to stab him with a knife. The couple both stated that they had been drinking and that the knives were not used in the altercation, so both were taken into custody due to the conflicting statements. Leedoris Greene was transported to booking, where she was charged with domestic assault.
