22-year-old Jonathon Goff was caught with crack pipes near Prescott Street and Poplar Avenue on September 6th, 2023. Officers made a traffic stop on a van whose tags did not match or return to the vehicle and identified Melvin Holt as the driver whose license was suspended. Officers proceeded to detain Holt before they noticed a scooter in the back of the vehicle. The identification number was run on the scooter and came back stolen. Officers had to inventory the vehicle because it had been towed to the lot, and they found two crack pipes between Holt and Goff, who was a passenger. Neither Goff nor Holt said it belonged to them. Goff was issued a misdemeanor citation for drug paraphernalia. He then failed to appear in court, and a warrant was issued on November 6th, 2023. Goff was found and taken into custody on May 27th for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jonathan David Mitche Goff was booked into the Shelby County Jail on May 27th, charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,100.
